The programming procedure for the 16C5x series is totally different then
the 16C/F84 or any of the other 16Cxx series for that matter. Most of the
16Cxx series are programmed by serial data. THe 16C5x uses a parallel
interface, similar to the 17Cxx. I'm afraid that you will need a
different programmer and software.
