Hey! Something that I can contribute to on this list! I've been asking questions up to now but this is something I can pass along some information on - :) Try the LM2936Z-5.0 It's a TO-92 - same pin-out as the L05 but only sips about 15uA quiescent current - I'm using them in a 9V thing I'm building and they work fine, with two slight downside issues - 1) They are about 3-5 times more expensive than the 'L05 I have seen them at up to 3 bucks a pop. 2) They require a 10uF cap on the output to prevent oscillations - I've got this "rank" looking electrolytic - it's bigger than the regulator! Hope this helps. Lewis At 01:05 PM 6/22/98 +0200, you wrote: >Hi all! > >Does anyoune know of a voltage regulator that does not swallow a couple of >mA even with no load?
