I have both the Picstart 16b firmware v. 1.7, and the Picstart 16c
firmware v. 1.3.  I am interested in programming the PIC16F84.

1.  Are the above programming kits capable of programming the PIC16F84?

2. Is there a more current version of the firmware available?  If so,
where is it available?
