  FWIW, if I *were* going to set a bomb timer, I'd sure like plenty of
feedback about it being armed, and how much time I had to evacuate!
Ergo, display and piezo sounder.

  Of course, if it was under $200 worth of bomb (not too likely in a
military sense) or if I was on a *really* low budget, a 12C508 plus a
VMOS-FET and a single LED would do.
