One of my Co-workers has Linux running on a couple of Power PC's. In a
short while he (and possibly you too) will be able to do his PIC
development on them.

I just completed an all software, no interrupt, PIC12C5xx compatible,
single cycle resolution, 256 level PWM routine that I'll be putting on
my web page. I also plan (but probably will not have by this weekend) to
post some PWM theory. (If you want to hat I've got on the similar
subject of Square waves, then check out:

it's a little on the theoretical side...)
