Hi all, I am surprised at the insistence that individual e2prom locations cannot be changed in the newer 16f84. I use a development programmer designed by Steve Merchant that checks a location against the code then programs or not accordingly. I have noticed no differences in programming times between the c and f 84 parts. I can definitely tell if there are many locations to be changed on re-programming a part as the process can take more than 10 seconds whereas if just a few locations are changed, then the programming is almost instantaneous. I have *not* noticed any variance on this trait between the c84 and the f84 parts. Regards, Chris.
