Hi all! I have gone through the programming specs for the 16F8x, and I can't understand what the 14 bit value does that has to be sent after the `Load configuration' command. The PC jumps to 0x2000, alright. But then follows a normal programming cycle, with data load instruction etc. So what is the data word after the `Load config' command used for? Can I just use it as the first word to be programmed into the ID/Config area (so that the first programming cycle does not need a `load data' command)? Or is it just a dummy value? Any help would be appreciated.
