At the latest MicroChip seminar in Calgary the Advanced Seminar notes contained a circuit for reading several (16 I think) keys with one pin (actually 2 as one was a drive pin as I recall). If you want I could locate the page number and book number for you, however I assume it will be on MicroChips web site.
