The ARRL (American Radio Relay League) publishes a variety of books on RF design. The ARRL Handbook for Radio Amateurs is published yearly with minor changes from edition to edition to keep pace with the times. It focuses on items of interest to radio amateurs including theory, practical circuits and construction articles. Unfortunately, it's a massive volume and sometimes gets to be dry reading. However, at less than $30 a copy, it is probably a worthwhile investment for any electronics experimenter. Also in the ARRL are a variety of other books on radio and antenna design including several book/software packages. See your local amateur radio supplier or check out the ARRL's web page at http://www.arrl.org/catalog/index.html My vote is still for "The Art of Electronics" as the best all round book on electronics.
