     Are you running the PICs at 3 volts? do they work if run at 5
volts?

     The picstart plus (all the picstarts I think) only verifies at
5Volts

After almost 24 hours my message has not appered, so I resend it:


Hello all,

I have some problems programming pic12c508 DIL chips. From one tube (60
pcs), 18 didnt work after programming, thats 30%, and I have no idea
what
could be wrong.

I have programmed all in same way, with same source code, and on same
PC...
I am using win3.11, picstart plus programmer and mplab, all chips are
programmed ok. I suspect the internal osc. to be the problem (Have not
made
any tests), all chips are programmed with internal masterclear and int.
osc. (source uses int. osc.)

Anybody have had the same problem ????
What could be wrong here..
