What type of circuits? Most design books focus on a specific area of
     electronics, for instance RF or digital or audio, etc. Despite its
     name, the Radio Handbook has great info on electronics design,
     including audio, digital (a little dated), design math, great
     construction hints, making PCB's and project cases, using and making
     test equipment, lots of reference tables, and of course, RF, including
     amplification and generation.

     A similar book that is a bit more focused on stuff of interest to a
     Ham radio operator is the ARRL Radio something or other, I forget the
     exact name.

        does anyone know if there is any good books for circuit design?  The Art
of Electronics seems more like a reference book to me.
