Oops, I am afraid i am the the one who wrote the BASCO compiler sure we did write some sample and test programs and it is possible to write to port B, but you must write some very simple assembly code to do this. BASCO is not further developed but we have another product out SiDE design environment actually includes a BASIC compiler that can generate PIC Code. It is in beta stage too, but should do lots more than BASCO ever did. (well there are no Stamp like tokens ready those functions must written by the user).
