Dave: I don't know how you define "inexpensive", but Boulder Creek Engineering makes an excellent PC-based logic analyzer called the Pod-8820 (previously known as the "Pod-A-Lyzer 820"). List price is $1295, but they have occasional promotions during which they drop the price to $995. 18 channels, 100 megasamples/second async (66 MSa/S sync), 64K samples/channel, great Windows-based software, and it'll fit in your shirt pocket. You can download the host software for the thing -- it runs as a demo if you don't have the hardware -- from their web site at: http://www.pod.com -Andy === Andrew Warren - fastfwd@ix.netcom.com === Fast Forward Engineering - Vista, California === http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/2499 (personal) === http://www.netcom.com/~fastfwd (business)
