THey're great people. Unfortunately their hands are tied by Marketing. Dealt with them, too. When we told them we wanted 100K pieces per year of the 14-bit core in an 8-pin part with internal USART (the fixed one ) and EEPROM, they seemed to listen. In the meantime, we coded it to fit in a '558. Oh, and we'll still buy 100K parts, but much cheaper.
