Check out Motorola web site, their 1997 CSIC HC05, HC08 CDROM has lot of
data, Bosch (auto ignition) has his mark on most of this.

lots of grind ahead of you !

PS don't ask me any details, I just looked over CAN bus specs for a
quick overview.
