What kind of tubes are you using?
If they have a white coating, this is as you say to convert the raw UV
into different wavelength but perhaps to non-UV light. Or UV that won't
affect your resist? They're not UV lamps for tanning are they?
That UV is probably a longer wavelength, and less energetic at causing
eye damage, skin cancers, and developing UV resists?
