Dear Colleagues,

        I have purchased a PicStart+ as it supports all known PIC types.
However, the programming software is integrated into the MPLAB IDE, and I
don't like GUI, because of its instability and other disadvantages. I plan
to write a simple programming software dealing with it, however, I need
the communication protocol between PC and PICSTART+. I know the serial
parameters are 19200,N,8,1, but I don't know the challenge-response
sequences. I wrote to Microchip but I didn't got ANY answer. Could
somebody help me? That software would be good also for Linux, I guess.
