not a full answer here, I have a recent Mot' cdrom and can only find a
MC68hc05k3 processor there. the 705J1 kit is only NZ$50, maybe you can
adapt this to program a K3 ? Mot www site has freeware IDE by P&E check
the datasheets for similarities on programming hardware.
