No, Myke's book doesn't come in any of the Asian languages for reasons involving copyright law. It's a start, though. How about some more: 4. Using a hack-saw, remove the cover of the DUT (Device Under Trial.) Carefully examine the silicon chip using a magnifying glass and copy down the contents of its memory onto paper. Be sure to buy lots of duplicate chips because this scheme needs some practice to get it right. 5. Gently crack open the PIC using a hammer, and sweep up all the bits and bytes with a soft brush. All you have to do now is arrange them in the right order. 6. Call the guy who programming the PIC and ask for a full source code listing. Be diplomatic. Try each one in turn to see what works.
