In addition to didling around with PICs, I am also involved in desktop video.
Are there any sources for video applications using PICs?

A couple of ideas that come to mind are: an RCTC timecode reader/writer and
a timebase corrector (TBC).
Both of these devices are microproccesor-based and sell for megabucks in
commercial versions (over $500).
My observation is that often such devices can be homebrewed for a fraction
of that price.

Any suggestions or URLs would be appreciated.
