I'm trying to get into pic programming, the only experience i have is
programming computers for about 5 years now.  My elevtronics knowledge
is almost non-existant.  I got a couple of excellent books, Myke
Predko's on Programming the pic microcontroller.  And The
Microcontroller Beginners Handbook.  A friend of mine is in the process
of building a pic writer.  I can not afford to buy one, and do not trust
what little electronics knowledge i have enough to try to build my own,
so i was just going to get him to write mine for me.  I was wondering if
anyone had any advice for a begginer, like good projects or anything at
all that will help me get into this area, and especially a good way to
get the electronics experience/knowledge i'll need to be able to build
my own circuits, thanks in advance.
