I had a sample request in with Pioneer for two window programmable 12C671s since May '97. They said August. Then September. Then October. I went ahead and did code development on a 16C71. The PIC rep brought the two samples to me in late Feb '98, in a fancy ceramic package. I got 6 OTP samples about a week ago and dibs on 100 of the first production, which was supposed to take place at the end of March. And on another topic, Pioneer claims I can buy the OTP parts from them programmed. The cost for this service is about $0.20 ea.. They require a part (that they can read), or a file. Does anyone have experience with this service? -- /--------------------------\..\==================/ b r a d l e y b a k e r n4ocb@earthlink.net
