I believe that some monitors have a shut down mode that is invoked if no
activity is detected .  If I am wrong, I apologize.  In any case, a
schematic is what I need in order to investigate where the shutdown is
occuring.

monitors do not have screen saver feature because thay can not
determine when you are using your PC or not so lets change the name
you have a problem like screen saver. there are meny reasons can cause
this problem . I would start from the power supply. to find this problem

first you need to get variable transformer. instead of connecting to 110

volts bring
it down to 90-100 use it for a while if did not happen again that means
90 % power supply problem causing X-ray protection to turn on.
