For a remote camera project, I need 5 of the following units. I could do them myself, but I rather concentrate on the programming and implementation part. Description: This is a controller for a tilt & pan head of a remote video camera. The controller has 8 SPDT relays rated at 1 Amp @ 28V AC/DC, attached to a terminal strip. The relays control pan (2 relays), tilt (2 relays), zoom (2 relays) and focus (2 relays). Unit has 8 digital inputs for limit switches, shaft encoders etc. I am unclear about the signal provided to these inputs, they may vary from camera to camera. Something that reads presence of a voltage > 3V would be best; if necessary, I can provide a clean TTL signal to the inputs. The unit has a 4-wire RS-485 port to communicate with a central controller in a multi-drop environment. Each unit needs to be individually addressable, address either supplied by a 4 position dip switch or as a variable. Unit will run on 24V AC with on-board regulation. If possible, the on-board regulator provides an auxiliary voltage, adjustable between 5V and 12V DC (for the lens controller). CPU needs to be in-circuit programmable in BASIC, BasicStamp preferred. Programming will be supplied by customer (me). I'm a bit vague re memory requirements, the unit doesn't have to do much more than parse and evaluate ascii commands sent over the 485 line, switch the relays accordingly and send back ACKs when done. Delivered assembled & tested on a PCB, PCB w/ holes for standoffs. If you can supply these units or know someone who does, pls let me know, along with the cost of a total of 5 units.
