I thank everybody who had suggestions. Some people thought they were smart asses and suggested a 555. Well, at first I had a 555 timer connected to a cd4020B. The amount of time out was adjustable by a 250K pot connected from pin 7 to pin 2&6. The output was connected to a couple of txers that controlled a MOC3010. I just figured that I could implement a PIC to make the project more of a learning experience since I am new to these MCU's. Once again thank you to everybody that had some "positive" input. ---- PICLIST(a)MITVMA.MIT.EDU's Message ---- Steven Kosmerchock wrote: > Ever heard of a 555? ;) > Hello everybody, > I'm new to the world of PIC's.I was wondering if anybody have any suggestions to > help me out.
