Hi all, I bought one of those AC voltage detectors, the type that have an inductive loop that you place near a wire or an outlet to check for 60Hz AC. I love the thing, and have an application where I could use this principal to detect line voltage and avoid the hassle of making hook-up wires. I have a rough idea how it works, loop causes voltage, voltage is amplified and recgtified through a low pass op-amp then put through a comparaotr possibly. My question is, does anyone have a schematic for this circuit?? Or maybe point me in the direction of that circuit. I believe it may have been in an Electronics Now article. One other Q. I will be going on vacation soon and will want to unsubscribe from the list for a week. How do I unsubscribe then re-subscribe. It's been nearly a year and I have no remeberance how I even found this informative list! Thanks Rob
