Judging by the amount of discussion regarding 418-433MHz data links and the
amount of mail I got directly, I think it's fair to say lots of us are using
or investigating the use of RF links.  (The rest of you guys, go grab a
cup of coffee... yeh, both of you!)

My poor range performance of the Lynx LC-series evaluation kit was due to
a short to ground on the TXR output somewhere under the SMD module.  Lynx is
sending me a replacement.  They apparently test each component prior to
assembly, then do a bench-test for overall operation; so mine (working at
close proximity) passed.  Lynx asked me to return it for evaluation.
Their tech. support is good; I didn't want to give them an undeserved black
eye.  I suggested they set up a Lynx list server :)
