My stimulus-file still doesn't work. Am I forgetting some trivial thing?

MPLAB is in simulator-mode.
Debug->simulator stimulus->pin stimulus->enable then choose file
midi_box.sti

This file is attached. Watch window contains PORTA. TRISA=b'00011111'
When stepping trough the program, PORTA never changes. What am I doing
wrong?
