Others have suggested changing the settings in the general preferences menu of Netscape - I tried that several months ago when I ran into the same problem after upgrading to Acrobat 3. It doesn't work under Netscape 2.01! My solution to date has been to hold the shift key when selecting the file - this immediately brings up the "save as" dialog without launching Acrobat. If anyone else can suggest a fix, please let me know. BTW - I've been told that after changing the settings in the preferences dialogs, you have to make sure that you select the "save settings" option on the first level of the preferences menu. I have not confirmed this - just passing on what I was told... dwayne Dwayne Reid Trinity Electronics Systems Ltd Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA (403) 489-3199 voice (403) 487-6397 fax
