is there any source for the digest files the PicList sends out daily?
    I would like to convert those files to PDF's to make them searchable
    and there are some I missed in the past ;-)

There are actually relatively powerful search and retrieval functions built
into the listserve itself.  I've used it to retrieve "interesting" messages
after I come back from a vacation during which I've unsubscribed.

Send a message to "listserve@mitvma.mit.edu" containing the single line
"help", and it will get you started.
