I was just reading my Electronics Now magazine and on pg. 74 there is
some spread spectrum modules for $199 each.

I did a web search on the name and found that the manufacturer has a
new unit at 2.8 Ghz.  Looks really nice.  It's called the Mercury.

Give it a looksee.
