Yes Cliff, they do look really nice. They say that they are capable of 1/4 mile range too. I was thinking about the fact that it has 8 channels. This could be used quite intelligently. One channel could be used for broadcast of messages. Units in their idle state could 'listen' to this channel. Then in the details of the message, would include the channel the slave unit was to respond on, thus minimizing collisions. Then there would be a priority channel that could be used for when there was an alarm etc. hmm.... it's coming together.
