How do you access the handshaking lines:  RTS, CTS, DTR & DSR? (I have an
application ((PIC, of course)) that would use these for other functions.)

Has anyone had any experience with the Holtek 12A/B remote
encoder/decoder chips?  Specifically, can you increase the resonator freq.
from 455kHz to maybe 2MHz?
