Pin Function 1 Ground 0V 2 +5V Supply 3 LCD Contrast Control 4 Command/Data Line 5 Read/Write Line (Strap to GND) 6 LCD Enable Line 7-10 Data Lines (4-Bit Mode) 11-14 Data Lines (4-Bit Mode) The controller uses 80 bytes of display RAM (Hitachi 44780 Controller).
