Hi all,

I have two 8-bit numbers. I need a routine for dividing these two numbers.
The dividend is always less than the divisor. The range of the dividend
is 0-128 and the divisor is in the range 0-256. So the answer will always
lie between 0-1.

The 16-bit/8-bit division routine given in microchip application notes
takes a lot of cycles. Is there any fast routine for dividing 2 8-bit
numbers.
