Mitch I bought Myke Predko's book a couple of months ago, to teach myself PICing. I think it covers all of the areas likely to trip up beginners, but proceeds to a fairly advanced level, through a series of illustrative programs and experiments. It's clearly written and interesting; a copy of this book and the Microchip datasheet for backup would suit most people, I reckon. Actually, it's funny how much more sense the data sheet makes, after reading Myke's (That's Mr. Predko to you, son) book a couple of times. As for getting hold of the book, I just went into my local bookshop and quoted them the ISBN. They had to order it, but their distributor didn't seem to have any trouble getting hold of it. Good luck John M
