     Depends on how much current you define as 'some current' - Get a good 
     brand 1M x 1, 4M x 1 or 16M x 1 into battery back-up, or self refresh 
     mode and you're talking 100uA, 150uA or 250uA Max (for each size 
     respectively). Same for the x8 and x16.
     
     OK, they guzzle juice if you're accessing at 25MHz!
