Hey...
I'm tring to develop a devise that uses cards similar to Dontronics PICEX
to scan switches for input and then activate solenoid valves corresponding
to the input.  I hope to control 6-12 valves per station(card) to a max. of
9 stations.
My questions are?

What gear out there would suit my goals?
What language would suit the gear?
Is there anyone that would like to take on the project of writing to
program??( It pays of course)

I'd appreciate the help greatly...
