I too am running Outlook 97, but without the security add-in (we do not run Exchange Server). But from my understanding from the help files, the digital signature is not attached automatically. You have to select the "digitally sign message" icon before sending the message. It may be that Exchange Server does this "for" you, I don't know. Bob.
