It's exactly the same thing here, a letter dated on december 31, very nice letter stating my request has been forwarded to "Ibars Electronics Corp", and "you can EXPECT (hmmmmmmm) to hear from them SOON.... Well, a year or so ago I got the same letter (I still have it !!!), and I'm still EXPECTING to hear something SOON from Ibars Electronics Corp..... In the meantime, I get my pics I need because my brother in Europe buys them there, puts them in an envelope and sends them to me..... Perhaps time for Microchip to look for a more serious sales rep.... Same thing is Microsoft local rep here, I'm still waiting (more than a year) for an original C++ package..... And every day they are crying because everybody is using illegal software ("mau" in Guarani language.....) here - you even can't get LEGAL one from the "official dealer"......... Not even a vendor who understands your needs - their vendors have the same knowledge about software as I have about raising cows (the only thing I know about a cow is that they have four legs, say "booooooo...ooooooh", produce milk and meat, but that's all......).
