I've never had a problem getting CDs from Microchip distributors, one
phone call and within a week I have one.

I actually prefer printed data sheets, and will always try to get one
for each PIC I work with.

Some time ago, Microchip sacked their most prominent UK distie (Polar,
who now represent Atmel and the AVR), leaving the others to pick up the
business. At that time it was very easy to get CDs and data as the disties
were keen to become your preferred supplier.
