FWIW, A friend of mine and I will be writing our own programming code for the YAPP serial port programmer. Our target platform is OS/2, but we will be making the source code as platform neutral as possible. If anyone else is interested we would be happy to share the source code when it is done. I will post here to let everyone know if and when it becomes available. I have chosen the YAPP because of the true RS232 serial port interface. This makes it much more of a portable device between operating systems.
