Howdy,

I have located a copy of the Popular Electronics article from Nov 1994.  Please
note that this uses the PIC16C54, while the original thread was discussing using
the 16F84.  However, the firmware could easily be modified.    Mr. Weeder has
used an FET and a BJT as the input amplifying devices.  His article claims that
the sensivity is 100mV from 100HZ to 2MHZ and 800mV at 50MHZ.    The published
schematic contains at least one error.  The node connection of R2, D1 and D2
should connect to ground.  The schematic shows this node as floating. The PCB
artwork shows this node attached to ground.
