Never tried it, though, just read. If you know absolutely nothing about can, a good place to start is the article in Circuit Cellar Inc of May and June 1995. A URL with a lot of information is http://www.omegas.co.uk/CAN/. It explains all about can and has other info like current devices supporting can etc. There is also a (very quiet) can mailing list that you can subscribe to by sending a message to can-request@cichlid.com with the word "subscribe" in the message body.
