Hi all --
    Asked this question a few days ago, but think it got lost in the shuffle:

    Older versions of MPLAB Editor had an option switch to "Save file
periodically" while writing code.  The version I'm using now has this option
dimmed out, and it doesn't respond to click-ons.  My system crashes a lot
these days, usually just before I remember to save the code I just wrote.
Anyone know how to turn this option back on?
