Sorry for the off topic message but I have a problem I was hoping someone could help me with. I have about a dozen Intel 8755A-2 eprom/I/O chips that appear to be faulty. As long as the erase window is exposed to light I can erase, verify the erase, program and even use the chips in my device. When I cover up the erase window the devices revert back to pattern like this 0000FFFF 0000FFFF 0000FFFF 0000FFFF and so on. Since Intel no longer makes and refuses to support these chips, and I have a product to complete I was wondering if anyone had an 8755A-2 chip they could sell to me or any other ideas as to what happened to my chips. They are all the same lot # which makes me suspicious they were bad from day one. Thanks Roger H.
