> Speaking of oscillators: outside of cost, what would the differences be > in using a ceramic resonator as opposed to a crystal (running @ 3.58Mhz on > a 16C54, for example)? (Temperature sensitivity?) Generally, everything is a bit looser. Where specs (accuracy, ageing, temp coeff, etc) for a crystal are in parts per million, the coresponding numbers for ceramic resonators are in the order of <0.5%. They have lower Q and start up quicker. Steve. ====================================================== Very funny Scotty.
