There's really about four things which I need to do. Probably a list would be easiest. :) 1. When the motor is not moving it needs to be locked. 2. I believe that the motor takes 2 degree steps, creating 180 possible positions. It needs to determine what the shortest distance is from one position to another position, and take that path. Does this make sense? 3. There is an IR sensor for determining the wheel's position on, for example, start-up. Yea! :) 4. It, of course, needs to be able to keep track of the wheel's position at all times, except when it's turned off, of course. :) I have to use a ULN2069 driver chip. If you don't know what it is, go to Yahoo and type in that part number! :) I believe that I saw some posts about something like this recently, but I didn't need such info at the time. ;) What I need most is for someone to bring me up to speed on this stepper motor bit! Also, if anyone has any experience with the ULN2069 chip, I'd greatly appreciate any tips/suggestions! Cheers, -- ~Keith tsk3000@Prodigy.Net http://pages.prodigy.net/tsk3000/
