There's a 'lite' version of the Acrobat distiller that ships with PageMaker. Perhaps it also ships with other Adobe applications... Also, the full version has been available to MS Word owners for under $100 lately (from Micro Warehouse), which is about 50% of "normal" cost. It's capable of converting Word files to PDF.
