Hi Bill,

There's a good cross-section of the general population here on the list.
That suggests that the I.Q. averages 100. If you got one thoughtful
response from someone, that's great. The signal-to-noise ratio will never
be good. Especially on anything electronic. It's up to you to filter the
responses.

On the other hand, this list is excellent on software issues, and I enjoy
reading what I have time for. There's so much traffic, I don't even have
time to delete messages!

If you want to see a list with more electronic illiterates spouting their
version of wisdom, check out the Parallax "Stamp" list. It will make you
feel better about this one.
